   Hi there,

   I've googled all over the place for this and found nothing satisfactory.

   I've built a theme and the only remaining problem to fix is this:

   My sidebar has a different backgroun colour to my content loop. The content loop largely determines the length of the page, but I want the sidebar background to stretch to fill all the space between where the widgets end and the footer starts.

   I've heard of the faux columns method but I want to know if there's another method.

   Please help me. It's getting very frustrating now!

   Well, as is always the way, the moment I post for help somewhere I stumble across the answer by simply fiddling around!

   google for clearfix

   Should help you find something. I forget how I used it, but I used it in a previous theme to make my sidebar reach down to my footer
