• I’ve read that my friend posted about this as well.
But the thing is, she got it fixed but it didn’t quite work for me.
I can’t seem to type æ ø Ã¥ in my blogs at http://www.ritajohansen.com and Louise who fixed it couldn’t fix it on mine, so obviously there is something very wrong with my templates or something even though I haven’t messed anything up. I don’t know anything about fixing this stuff as I am new with WP. Please help me out.
Thank you so much in advance.

    doesn’t ANYBODy know?:(

In wp-admin > Options > Reading, choose “Encoding for pages and feeds” as recommended: UTF-8.
Although it works for me, I have twice experienced that all Norwegian characters was substituted by strange signs in already written posts. I don’t know why.
One may perhaps learn something here:

It may be a server side issue. See http://wordpress.org/support/3/12043
    Good luck!

I have no idea what you’re talking about. I’m new!! what do I do? and yeah, when I changed something it was æ ø Ã¥ in the blog but then my menu was messed up.

well, not knowing the structure of your php files, I can’t really say… but you should look wherever you have your body tags or menu. Maybe the ImageReady Slices add something extra to the code? What do you have right after your body tag?

Rita, I just have to do it twice. Basically, I type ‘éé’, which of course comes out as ‘eé’. So, when I need to enter a ‘é’, I just type two and delete the first. Does that help?
