I Need Help Solving a Problem (1 post)

I want to offer a specific functionality to my site and I haven't seen a plugin for it. If no plugin exists at the moment I'll build one but I would like to know what you think is the best way to approach it.

I want to give my 'members' the ability to post directly to the site. However, their post will not show up in the main part of the blog it'll be in sort of a public holding cell until it gets enough votes. After a certain amount of votes it'll be posted into the main part of the blog. This is like the seoMoz model so I hear.

If there is a plugin for this I'd love to get it.

If there isn't a plugin for this the way I thought I would make this work is to create a category specifically for the holding cell. All new posts will go directly into that category. Then with enough votes it'll be put into the main blog by changing the posts category. Then I'll just exclude the holding cell category from being put on the main blog.

If you know of a plugin or you have a better idea please let me know.
