    Hello Guys!

I have a site using WP script hosted on http://www.awardspace.com (free hosting)

AwardSpace has some "blocked" words to the FreeWebhost...and, when you put one of these words on your site, your site is blocked -.-

But I did a mistake and put one of these blocked words on one Text/HTML Widget (A widget for the Partner's Banners), and all my website is off -.-

So, I need edit my widgets using a FTP, coz the FTP isn't blocked..

Has any way to do this?

    Thanks!

Yes, like you said, use FTP. Make the changes to the widget locally (on your PC for e.g) and then PUT it on the server, overwriting the widget that is there. If the server doesn't allow overwrites, try deleting the file first, and then 'put' it again...

Ah a text widget. Well, the content of the widget is stored in a database table called wp_options as serialized data.

This is what a text widget looks like:
    {s:5:"title";s:5:"lemon";s:4:"text";s:7:"chiffon";}

You would have to search that table in the database, find the word you're looking for, and edit the record.

    Do you have PHPMyAdmin?

Don't wait for me! I won't be back!

I had something similar for a client on an uptight host.
Quick and dirty fix- rename your theme's sidebar.php to something else.
This will not allow the widgets to show anywhere but will of course throw errors.
Tell host whatever they are whining about has been removed and put site back up
when site is up - log in to admin and fix text widget
rename theme's sidebar.php back to correct
    refresh site in browser

    Hello samboll

This is a way to get my site up again, thanks!

But I still can't edit this Text Widget on the Design => Widgets...

Because THERE the widget appers...and with it, the Prohibited word hahahaha

But renaming the sidebar.php I made the Main Page up again...only the sidebar isn't loading, but it's better than all the site off!
