   Whenever I try to set up the blog-by-mail I always get an error that says:

   Ooops POP3 connect: Error [110] [Connection timed out]

   I have an email account that uses Horde. I have also tried a gmail account with the postie plugin. It has always been to no avail. I can't get it to work.

   I checked with my hosting company via live chat and they found no problem on their end of the spectrum.

   Anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be?

   I need to get this working so all my users can post from their email accounts. Thanks for any help I can get!

   So, you're getting the error in the admin area, or when you go to dump the messages to your blog?

   In the admin area, everything works great. It says that the options are updated successfully.

   It's when I access the wp-mail.php file, that's when I get the time out.

   I get the same error. No idea whats going on.
   BTW, im using hostgator as my hosting service for the blog.
