   I’m sure others have had this problem.

   I’m moving my web site to a different plan with my provider and I’m testing and training myself before hand.

   1. I put WP in a folder called test,
   used the same database names as the orginal Blog
   and everything worked in the folder ..../test/

   2. I then deleted the new database tables
   uploaded the backed up(original) database tables

   3.I then went to the web address and get a 404 error.

   $.When I type ...../test/wp-admin/, the browser takes me to the soon to be old URL http://www.outdoorupdate.com/Fishing/Blogs/State/Florida/SaltWater/BigBend/ not to the test at http://www.outdoorupdate.com/test/

   And I’m almost sure others have had this problem. Can someone point me in the right direction for info?

   PS I've been staring at this stuff for a while and I did a forum search and maybe the answer was in front of me but I haven't found it
