    I need a theme where the main page is static. I mean, there will be NO posts over there. Just a slider and content!

    In this website you can get my ideia, but the green area would be the slider.

    Does anyone know a good theme for this purpose? Or how I would be able to work this idea?
    Sometimes is very hard to find a good theme and twist it…

    Most themes allow you to have a static front page. See creating a static front page.

    Thanks esmi, I think I can figure out how to create the static front page with your help.

    Now about the site interns…
    It wont be like a blog! I just want to let my client upload some images and text as he want to promote some work. I mean, he needs to change the intern’s content himself. But it cant look like a blog post. Do you get it?

    Can you help me out?

    Teach him to use Pages and not Posts. Depending upon your theme, that should remove most of the “blog-like” features immediately.
