   I had some guy work on my website

   http://www.investwithstar.com

   and this is now in my dashboard & I can't figure how to get rid of it

   then I was told to basically fix it myself so I tried, I am now at this level where I can't even get in

   Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in /home/cracktha/public_html/investwithstar/wp-admin/admin-functions.php on line 1315

   "Some guy" screwed up your site. It's a very telling choice of folder name 'cracktha'. I suggest you get "Some guy" to fix it. If cracktha is not a folder you created, delete it and every thing in it and hope for the best. it (it won't get much worse, might even get better.

   I'd guess you got hacked (or willing allowed it).

   Actually I got it fixed and dont always assume. I had ideas that finally got the bottom line. Also it was a short line of the entire site
