I messed up after a back up!

    Greetings

    I backed up my site then added sub domain and copied everything into the sub domain.

    Nothing worked!

    At first I had all sorts of errors 500, 400, enter passwords..
    Then I could see only part of the site and now I get a blank site – nothing!

    I cant login.

    Any thoughts of what I can copy back into the site, which I must have damaged in my exercise!

    I have gone over everything I can think of… I am not getting it to appear.

    If I type in the URL – I get a blank screen. (view source – nothing)
    If I go to the login page I get the blocks to login – view source there is code)

    – when I enter my name and password – I get back to a blank screen again.

    Is there a file that controls what is displayed, which I have damaged?

    What files should I ensure are there and work?

    Should I cut my losses and start over?
    The data will still be in the database so maybe I can reuse it?
