• I’m new to the whole world of wordpress and loving every second of it. I just launch my new free premium themes site and was wonder if there are any tips, pointers or suggestions that you guys can offer being around for so long that could help better me and my site.

Any ideas on how I can better promote http://www.wpthemespress.com and generate some buzz in the WordPress world? Thanks so much everyone. Do let me know what you think about my blog and designs too 🙂

  • Hi braydond. Be sure to have a look at this post.

Just want to point out one thing — the word “premium” in reference to WordPress themes usually connotes that the theme is not free and there is a premium for people to use it.

It’s something you may want to reword when you’re promoting your themes. As an alternative, you could use “free wordpress themes” or “free high quality wordpress themes” or something along those lines so people know they are free themes and are held to a certain high standard (assuming that’s what you meant to imply with the word “premium”).

My 2 cents, hope it helps.

Thanks for the info. I didn’t think i had to reference my release license because I wasn’t adding a theme 🙂 In any event all of my free premium themes are releates under a Creative Commons Attributed 3.0 License.
