i have two problems.need some suggestion..

(1) im using buddypress default theme and
i was wonderin’ is there any way to increase the size of navbar on top?
(i mean the black thing that contains the ‘My account,Notification nad visit’ link on top..actually dont know what it is called..) -here is my site to view-
i want it’s width 100% (not 100px) so no matter how large the screen or browser window is…its gonna fit easily.

(2).how to show post excerpt instead of showing full text? you can notice it on my site homepage.(though these posts are not in english but its easily noticeable) i’ve change ..content to ..excerpt in several script but works only for activity tab.
