Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
Is there no danger of losing information in the site by changing themes?
No. Your content is stored in your database – not in your theme.
I deactivated all plugins and the content of my site was lost completely. Reactivating each one at a time, the site returned when I reactivated the WP e-commerce plugin. That was scary.
Switching to 2011 fixed it. There is a leave a reply button at the bottom now. Can I add a comment button some other way?
Not unless you want to start editing your theme.

I cannot figure out why my website has no option to make comments on my blog posts. I have the “allow comments” boxes checked on my posts, but still nothing. I’m not a programmer and I have no idea how to write code. Anyone out there who can help a lay person? It’s the wpa storefront theme.
