   Yesterday I upgraded WordPress from 2.1 to 2.6, using the Automatic Upgrade plug-in.

   I have since discovered that *all* of my internal permalinks (the ones linking to other pages on my site) are not working, resulting in the 404 page showing up with the message

   "The requested URL http:// was not found on this server."

   How do I fix this?

   Just had this problem and was told to create a .htaccess file in the WordPress root and make sure WordPress has write access to it.

   It worked.

   You could also regenerate permalinks from the admin menu?
