I am creating a website for another person. Should I start it under my host just to get it started and then later switch it to their host or is it better to start from the beginning under their own host. I'm not even sure if it is possible to change a website over to another host. Please help!!

Posted 2 years ago #If you are just designing the theme, layout, etc. then it is a relatively easy thing to "move" the web site to another host. If you are populating the site with content prior to moving it, it can become much more complicated but still possible.

It's always easier to start up from scratch at your desired host :) Why wouldn't you?
(and the 'more complicated' part is the database copy, which really is the only diff between moving a theme and moving your whole site!)
