    http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2nsrd1&s=6

    a) have the name on the right side
    b) have the solid black line after
    c) have 2 clickable links to those pages (HOME, ABOUT)
    d) have a thin black line after
    e) have a picture like the one shown
    f) have a closing thin black line after

    3. How do I make the date shown there? When I go to my blog, it says the date then 'by [my url] How do I change that??

    I know this is a lot of questions, But I really want to change my blog up. It would be awesome if you geniuses could help me!

    1) when you log in, the bottom right corner of your admin panel should say what version you have.

    2)how much php/css/xhtml do you know? It's not all that simple to just set that up if you don't know what you are doing.....maybe look for a theme that is similar to what you are looking for....maybe one where you just have to do minor colour edits or something

    3) date is controlled in your theme. say...index.php (possibly also page.php or single.php)

    the code for that style date looks like
    <?php the_time('F j, Y'); ?>

    to get rid of the author stuff, you remove:
    by <?php the_author(); ?>
