   I have 1 great running, installed for me WordPress.org blog.

   I want to create multiple sites - do I need to reinstall wordpress for each new site?

   Or, what steps do I need to take - and where?

   For the time being, you'd need to create a new install for each new site. But if you wait until WP 3.0 is released, it will have some multi-site features that you'll be able to use from a single install.
