I purchased a theme from http://www.themeforest.net. When I tried to upload the .zip file in my wordpress admin, after chewing on it for a good while, it gives me a very strange error code.

Warning: file(/home/nickypoo/public_html/wp-content/themes/themeforest_the-slingshot-wordpress-template_43550/style.css) [function.file]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/nickypoo/public_html/wp-includes/theme.php on line 180

Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/nickypoo/public_html/wp-includes/theme.php on line 180

That code comes up right after it states that the theme uploaded successfully. When I go to my themes page, it's not shown. When I go to my cpanel and check out the files, it's there just like it should be, from what I can see.

The theme I purchased has been sold a few hundred times, so I doubt it has anything to do with the theme. Also, I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to any sort of code. I'm completely lost, so any and all help would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Nicholas

Sounds like your WP-install is broken. Are you running the latest version? Try deleting the «wp-includes» folder completely, and upload it afresh.

Thanks, but it wasn't that at all. There was an extra file in the zip folder that shouldn't have been there.
