Link please? The error from the web server for those images may explain what’s going on.
I have tried posting a picture on this page:
http://www.travelingyogi.org/about_me/
I also get the following error message when I try to change my background color to my site “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”
I use inmotion for my hosting.

Now the page is apparently having a 500 error (blank white screen). Has something changed on your site?
I just tried changing the permissions again. I think it should be back.

I think so too. 🙂
Now that I can see the site, the About Me is a good page. I think your image URLs are wrong.
The picture is trying to load
http://www.travelingyogi.org/yoga%20pics/2012/04/374707_764216741928_56700198_35596912_1426446844_n-204x300.jpg
Which gets a 404 not found error. Can you confirm where that image really is?
Thanks! I see the picture in my media section with the following URL:
http://www.travelingyogi.org/yogapics/2012/04/374707_764216741928_56700198_35596912_1426446844_n.jpg
I had loaded the picture directly from my desktop.
I tried to load the picture again and got the following message:
“374707_764216741928_56700198_35596912_1426446844_n.jpg” has failed to upload due to an error

That doesn’t load for me either… Still getting the 404 error.
When you click the above link, do you get the correct image?
Edit: Not able to upload, that would do it!
When I click the link above I get error 404. =(

Can you reset the upload location?
http://www.travelingyogi.org/wp-admin/options-media.php
Try leaving the Store uploads in this folder
section blank and re-upload the image.
I think that worked! Please let me know if you can see it! =)

If you mean the picture of the woman holding her right foot… Yes, the image loads just fine for me. 😉

You still have problems with the footer error message though, but that may be a theme problem.
