   Hi,

   I've been trying to upload a picture from my desktop into WordPress for a few hours now and it's not working. I've tried using the browser, flash, and url for the image and still no picture.

   Instead there's an outline of a small box in the draft post where the picture should be, and it has a broken picture in the the corner of it. When I check the post in preview mode there is no image at all.

   I'm using Firefox and I've cleared the cache. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

   It could be an issue within the image itself. Try re-saving it within a graphics application before uploading it again.

   Were uploads working beforehand?

   Also what is your upload path set to under Admin > Settings > Misc ?

   If it's set to default, try saving the setting again(just click the save button), then try a new upload.
