I can't login to site or access wp-admin

I’m guessing about the version but I know it’s not the latest. I can call up the home page of the blog, but can’t get the admin page to login. Just get a 404 page. here’s links to both

do I need to upgrade and if so how can I w/o trashing my old posts?
