   Hi,
   Hope you can help, am having some problems with my wordpress.org account.
   I can't seem to log-in to my dashboard to access my site - it's saying that my username doesn't exist, even though I was accessing my dashboard a cpl of weeks ago. No idea what to do next....

   Have you done anything to the database? Or make sure that it has not been deleted. Because the database stores all these information. Please check these first. Also their could be a problem with the server that host your database.

   Thanks for the reply - to my knowledge I haven't done anything to the database - I was working on the site a cpl of weeks ago without any problems, then I left it for a while and now when I've tried to go back to it, I can't access it....
   Is there a way to check whether the database has been deleted?
   I have also contacted my server company to see if they can help...

   Yes you can check your database, it varies for different host. But generally you would login to you host's control panel then navigate to you mySQL area and it should list all the databases you have.

   An easier way is just to check your blog, if all your posts, comments, etc has vanished your database has a high probability of being deleted.

   Sorry that I can't be of much help, I am quite new to self-hosting my blog.
