I Can’t install a WP Theme via the WP’s upload button

    When I try to installa Theme from WooThemes, I would received the following error: The uploaded file could not be moved to /home3/nousehai/public_html/Haiti/wp-content/uploads/2010/02

    Acordinf to Woothemes’ Support the error is a permission related one. Any idear on how I can get this error fixed

    It sounds like a permissions problem to me too. You need to change the permission on the uploads directory.

    It sounds to me like you’re trying to upload the theme in the same way that you would upload an image or MP3. If so, that isn’t going to work, as it will go to the wrong directory, and may also not decompress if it’s a zip file.

    If you have the latest WP, you can go to Appearance… Add Themes to find a theme to install, and do it that way. Else you’re better off using FTP to upload your theme files.

    Just download the theme from woothemes, unzip it in your local system and upload your theme folder to themes directory of your wordpress installation.
