    Hi,

Upgrade your plugin if this still not working, it will be faster for me to fix the problem if you can give me a demo account to your site. Below is my email address.

    russellpabon@guiform.com

    Thanks

Please upgrade guiform plugin to version 1.4.5

I have version 1.4.7 installed. ALMOST everything seems to be working. I have the email setup and receive the test messages via admin, however when a form gets submitted, I don’t get any emails. The data is saved in the database, but no email messages are sent.

Everything else seems to be working fine. Same issue on Chrome browser, Firefox browser, and IE browser.

Even went as far as disabling SPAM filter on my email account.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Browser type has nothing to do. Can I check your form and configuration?

Unfortunately, it looks like it may be something with the email host I am trying to send the forms to. I entered a different email address (different domain) and I was then able to receive the email.

The email account I am trying to submit to is on a doteasy.com account, but the email DOES work going to one of my gmail account. Apparently if if I turn off spam filtering in the doteasy.com account, it is still having issues. Maybe with a relay or something?

Try to use send via SMTP, use SSL encryption check Use SMTP authentication and enter your username and password in email setting page. Let me know if it works for you.

I have tried that and it didn’t work.

Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘phpmailerException’ with message ‘SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.’

If I don’t use encryption, then I can at least receive the “test” email from within the settings menu.

As I mentioned, the test portion works but I just can’t send via the form submit.

If it’s working in your gmail account then probably it’s in your email host. Unluckily I can’t help you with this because I don’t have doteasy.com account. Why not try to create a dummy gmail account then forward all your email to your doteasy.com email. But the best way is to contact your email host support and ask for assistance.

That worked. I created another gmail account that is doing the forwarding. It’s a band-aid, but its working.

    Thanks

Same issue here. But using a gmail account doesn’t work either.

What settings were used for gmail? I used “smtp.gmail.com” as host, port 465, SSL, and authentication using user/password.

Test emails don’t work. Not showing in Spam folder.

The godaddy email I initially attempted to use only gets the test emails but no form data/notifications.

Gmail probably prevented you from sign-in attempt in case it was a hijacker trying to access your account. Login to your email and google will alert you that someone is trying to access your mail. Please click the link below and verify that it was you who are trying to access.
