I’ve installed the newest version of NextGEN Gallery and WordPress.
The plugin works good, but with the activation of this plugin a big problem is appearing.
I can’t edit or create an article or a site.
If I want to try it, a white site reload or this Error is appearing:
Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 33554432) (tried to allocate 176128 bytes) in /homepages/18/d32551137/htdocs/_TVA/Taekwondo/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2935

I also can’t open the advanced settings of the plugin.

I installed it again and i searched for some solutions, but nobody couldn’t help me.

@marv55h – This error is an indication your PHP Memory Limit for your server needs to be raised (currently 32MB?!). I would recommend at least 128 but preferably 256.

    Thanks!

Where can you read the limit?
I’ve installed three plugins, they display 256M (i changed the value to 256).
Is there a difference between the Memory Limit and PHP limit?

And is really the white Screen/Window a sign for a low PHP Limit?

Your error message gives the “real” limits your site is experiencing …

    Out of memory (allocated 33554432)

    … this indicates a limit of 32MB (32 x 1024 x 1024 = 33554432)

    This …

    (tried to allocate 176128 bytes)

… means your site exceeded that limit; even 1 byte over the limit will cause these types of errors. That you have other plugins indicating you have a 256MB limit does not necessarily mean your “real” server environment is actually providing that resource amount.

I would ask your web host to explain why you are seeing these two vastly different values.

Thank you, i will ask my hoster, but i’ve found out, that I
can edit/create sites or articles if i deactivate the Page Builder (a Plugin).
And than I can’t just open the extended Setting, this Error is displayed:
Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0

Do you have an idea how i can use both Plugins, because Page Builder is necessary for my website??

    Edit//
    Jetpack Deutsch (de_DE)
    this Plugin caused the problems

    Thank you for the help!

@marv55h – Thanks for the follow up responses. You may also what to advise the other plugin authors what you have found.
