   I recently set up a wordpress site and successfully edited during the first few months, but occasionally when I open my site there is no menu at the top to allow me to edit it. It appears as if I am not the administrator of the site so I can't get into it to add new posts etc. What am I doing wrong?

   Dear cathie_live,

   the menu on top only appears when you are logged in. Your browser probably didn't log you in automatically because of a wiped cache or history. Just go to http://www.sitename.com/wp-admin, here you will be able to log in again and the meun will appear again.

   Thanks, I just tried your link and it came up with a 'page cannot be found' message. I'll try logging in again. Thanks for the suggestion.
