    Hi,
I wonder if you can help. I am having terrible trouble trying to back up my site. Non of the most popular back up plugins seem to work, although they did previously. I recently discovered that a calendar plugin was causing my site to be massive and I assumed this was preventing the back up from working. I deactivated said plugin and it caused my site to crash. I have since deleted the calendar plugin and all of its cached files and luckily my site is back running. I assumed that this would then allow me to back up my site but I'm still having problems.

I have your plugin installed and it gives me this message:
Current database size : 8746.544 Kb. You can save almost : 9977856.148 Kb
I don't quite understand that as it says it can save me more space than the size of my database.
I am assuming that it can save me a significant amount of space but I dont want to run the plugin as I cant back up my database as you advise.

I'm stuck in a catch 22 situation, I cant update new plugins and themes or create new content as I cant back up my site. Some of the plugins such as yours may solve my back up problem but I cant back up in order to try it.

I appreciate that the scope of what I am asking is related to more than just your plugin but I am pretty desperate so I hope you can help....thanks. Roy

Hi your database type is not supported so wp-optimize will not be able to optimize your DB (either on windows server or myISAM type db). Do not use the wp-optimize on your DB. Thanks!
