im new totally. i had this website working normally for three months. I was able to go int dashboard and edit pages etc, but I started to get spammed a lot in comments, so i tried to add an anti spam plugins as well as the plug in search all to make my site more visable. I thought it was working when i left it but today i again saw spam and now i can not get access to the editing areas on any pages. when i log in as normal, it lets me in, then when i go t dashboard i get this message saying "Apologies, but no results were found for the requested archive. Perhaps searching will help find a related post." and NOT FOUND at the top of the section. I can not edit my profile either as it will not let me change anything, it brings up the same message. I went into my hosting and deleted the two plugins, emptied the google history and cashe and still its the same. I am DESPERATE WordPress help me please. I am a writer and need my webpage for sales. thank you so much. John Michael Cahill. my site is http://www.johnmichaelcahill.com/wordpress

try (if you can log in):

    - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    - switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    if you can't log in
    - resetting the plugins folder by using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    - switching to the default theme by renaming your current theme's folder in wp-content/themes using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
