Not sure what's going on! I was working on it this evening, began to notice problems with the ftp during the install of a few simple minimal themes (others with any sort of graphics totally failed at install), finally everything quit and I can no longer get in. I did visit my server and the files are all there where they should be. I tried the index page in the file listings, but it wouldn't load from there either. Not sure if this is a problem with my server OR if I broke something?!! Will try again in the morning...

Try manually resetting your plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.
If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via FTP or SFTP, navigate to
/wp-content/themes/and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the Default theme (WordPress 1.5 - 2.9.2) or the Twenty Ten theme (WordPress 3.0 and higher) to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue. -
Posted 1 year ago #Okay, my blog "returned" but I'm not sure why it did a disappearing act in the first place. I have a server that's a bit funky at times... I've not had trouble with plugins so far, but that doesn't mean it couldn't happen. I will certainly make a note of your advice, however, in case all else fails! - Thanx
