Blog was fine this morning after adding new plug ins last night and generally upgrading the blog http://www.giblogswallop.co.uk but now when I try to log into the dashboard I get a '500 - Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.' and this is not just the dashboard but anyone trying to look at the blog................I am lost as to why

It sounds like a problem with your webmaster / host - whoever runs your server - have you tried contacting them?

Could be - just looked on URLSPY - will give them a shout and see what happens - have to download messenger first .....
Typically, 500 errors are generic in nature but typically, I've found that its usually a file permission. If you're not familiar with your host, you'll want to talk to them first.
I hope this helps!
