I do not write code or know html. Can someone help me trouble shoot what has gone wrong in layman terms? I can login, but i cannot edit anything. I can add a new post but when I "publish" it is blank except for the heading. i have no idea what version i am on, tried to find it and didn't know where to look but it suggests i upgrade to 3.2.1 if that helps.

Have you tried:
- deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
- switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
- resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
- re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of your version of WordPress.
