   hello,

   I would like to change my blog title at wordpress.loutrel.fr by "my experience with wordpress"
   Thus I go into the http://wordpress.loutrel.fr/wp-admin/options-general.php page and I input a new title

   WP tells me that it did record the new title but in fact the title does not change.

   Why can't I record a new title ?
   How can I change it through phpmyadmin ?
   Could anyone give the correct sql instruction ?

   When you go back to the options page, does the old title show or does it display the new one? If it's displaying the old one, that's one thing, but if it displays the new title there and just not in your template, it's possible there's an issue with the template. FWIW!

   thanks for your answer.
   When I go back to the option page, the title has not changed : still the old one.

   However, when I use phpmyadmin ti display the _options table, the title is correctly translated

   finally I just found the solution: my problem was coming from ZdMultiLang plugin !

   Once I desactivated it, the title was correct

   there you go. I am guessing you'd just have to edit the title in the other languages as well. Glad you got it :-)
