I'm not quite sure what's going on. I'm running google xml sitemaps on wp 3, and wordpress is self hosted.
http://www.mistamensa.com/rant/sitemap.xml
and when i try and launch the location of the sitemap, it says it cant be found. looking in ftp, you can see it sitting there in the root directory of the blog.
I was playing around with it based on troubleshooting steps other people got with the same kind of issue (enabled 777 on ftp for the sitemap.xml) and still nada.
I read something about uploading a blank .htaccess file to the root of the blog via ftp, enabling 777 permissions, and then changing permalink settings in wp admin panel, and then reverting to 667 or whatever for security after the file has been written to. but alas, my server isnt allowing a file uploading of that name.
so, wise WordPressers of the world..any help?
Thanks in Advance!
