    Hello,

A very simple question, if you have one minute :)

To make my blog more secure, I don't know if an idea I had is allowed :

    - log in as admin,
    - create another account with admin rights
    - logged in as this new account, change the admin account's rights to those of a simple subscriber, nothing more

This way, even someone managing to hack the admin account couldn't do anything, while the real admin's login would stay a secret...

What do you guys think of it, could it have a problem hidden inside ?

You should be able to create another admin account and use that new account to delete the old one.

    Thanks, Tofu :)

Even DELETE it ? There is no risk if I delete the "admin" account ?

I thought wordpress required an "admin" - called account to exist ?

Nope, I have no "admin" anymore either.

You can also just change the username in the database, but your sollution is easier.
