I am unable to use a dash in post titles, for example, if I wanted the title to be " Donny Goines - Do It For Hip Hop " it would read " Donny Goines Do It For Hip Hop. How can I fix this, and what is the problem?

I know this might seem stupid to some but it personally bothers me and I'd like to resolved the issue before I launch the site this coming weekend.

Well, you can use & and then #8211; in place of a dash. It will show correctly on your blog but your feed will show the code. But, a dash should work fne. What is your url?

You should delete your wp-includes and wp-admin files and upload them to the server again. You are most likely missing some small js or other element that makes the editor work correctly.

You have a lot of work to do in the next 48! Nothing validates - I suppose you know that and are working on it. Good luck.

An ampersand and then #8211; will result in a dash like this – That is basic html. You should be using your html editor. It will work in your titles and in your posts.

If it does not then you should definitely reload the wp-admin and wp-includes directories as something is missing in your install.

BTW, you probably know but your site is currently down.
