I am trying to install multisite on a domain which is pointing to a folder of another domain.
    mymultisite.com points to allmywebsites.com/mymultisite

I have had this site now for 2 years.
I am wanting to make it a multi site so that I can use the WPMUdev languages for wordpress to create 4 duplicate sites that are already translated and able to be crawled by each language.

I did the install, but I could not see the network setup under tools. So I replaced the htaccess with the original and then it should up. So afterwards I added my sites.

When I tried to access their dashboards I was unable to.

I went into my godaddy account in the dns settings and added * to host pointing at my ip address for the domain.

But before I could allow to change, I jumped ahead and deleted everything out of wp-config that I added and tried to redo, not I as I’m trying to redo I get this:

Warning: An existing WordPress network was detected.

Please complete the configuration steps. To create a new network, you will need to empty or remove the network database tables.

How do I go back or start over or something. Please help me out.

Ok so I found a thread where andrea said to delete these from database

    wp_blogs
    wp_blog_versions
    wp_registration_log
    wp_site
    wp_sitemeta
    wp_signups

I did that and reinstalled, great, perfect.

    I created on site multisite.com/es

but when I try to go to dashboard multisite.com/es/wp-admin
I get the actual website multisite.com/es
