AHHHH! So I installed WordPress yesterday and eeverything was working great, except for the links, but that's not my issue right now.

I had followed the install and walkthrough guide for the software and started to add in and adjust a theme I downloaded so it fits the layout and design of my website. After I adjusted everything I noticed my links were directing correctly so I started to look for the solution and though it was my destination specified in the WP settings. After adjusting that I can no longer go to my admin area, I just get redirected to my blog home page and not the admin login page. Plus after that happened non of the css works anymore on my blog page. I looked at all the code and everything but nothing has changed (at least what I can see). I need help asap! I was supposed to get the blog pages up and running today :(

heres a link to my main page http://www.wineinterview.com/blog/index.php

Follow http://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/ to set your siteurl and home values both back to http://www.wineinterview.com/blog

Also may need to add this to your .htaccess
    DirectoryIndex index.html index.htm index.php

thank you, I use the MySQL command line client for my DB work, if you know of any tutorial that covers this but with the MySQL CMD client that would a huge help! If not I'm sure I can figure it out.

Also where would I find the .htaccess file? I have remote access to my server and can locate it there.

.htaccess should be in your WP root. If you are viewing your server files with an FTP program, you may need to add a filter to view hidden files like that. WS-FTP's filter is -la, don't know what it might be for other FTP proggies.

I do have FTP access, but I am loggin in remotly so I am interacting with the server it self. After a while of investigating I've come to see that there is no .htaccess file. I will just create one I guess with the information above.

It may also be necessary to bring that to the attention of your host.
