Hubspot WP Plugin Giving Error

    Dear Support,

    We have incorporated the Hubspot WP Plugin with our blog hosted on WP platform. Authentication Successfully happened. But it still gives us few errors.

    Please refer to the errors below.

    Error 1:
    HubSpot Plugin: Error connecting to API – SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details: error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed

    Error 2:
    HubSpot Plugin: Error connecting to API – Response code was blank

    Error 3:
    HubSpot Plugin: Error connecting to API –

    Let us know how to rectify them.

    Hi Abhijeet,

    This error: “error:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed” means that your WordPress server isn’t recognizing the SSL certificate that HubSpot uses for our API. Do you know if you’re using a windows server to host your WordPress account by any chance? For some reason, that error comes most often from windows machines.

    Basically, you need to make sure that the list of trusted SSL certificates is up-to-date on your server and in your instance of PHP. If your server is maintained by someone else, you’ll need to get them involved.
