Hi,

I download and I tried the HTTPS Tester plugin and I have this message:

[FAIL]: Checking if stream_socket_client exists

How can I solve this problem?

Do you mean the “WordPress HTTPS Test” plugin at http://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-https-test/ ?

If so, I don’t believe the plugin is supported anymore, and there have been reports of it not working.

If not, could you provide a link to the plugin you are referring to. I could not find a plugin called “HTTPS Tester”.

Hi cavey85,

That particular error is not really a huge issue, as long as cURL is installed and operating. The same debug page will tell you if that’s the case.

That particular error can be fixed by having your host not include ‘stream_socket_client’ as a disabled function, or by them updating PHP to a later version.
