   When I go to search for new plugins from the "add new" plugin menu, I receive this message:

   An Unexpected HTTP Error occured during the API request.

   The same thing occurs when I click Featured, Popular, Newest, or Recently Updated, though the Start Page comes out fine.

   This error just began today, and I've tried on both Firefox and Safari, as well as on a few different wireless networks.

   For what its worth, I have this problem with my UK hosted sites (eUKhost), but not one that I have in the USA (1&1).

   ...found a reference HERE to fsockopen as possible cause...
