    No, it’s not necessary, just recommended.

    With the next update of AIO Cache, an automatic .htaccess rewrite system will be implemented, among other things.

    My present .htaccess that I recommend is proven to speed sites up best, when in combination with my plugin. They go hand-in-hand with each other.

    Please make sure you re-download the latest .htaccess, as some revisions have been made.
