Hey fellas, I am new to WordPress and have just installed it onto my website, I was just wondering if it was possible to copy paste the look of a current web page I have made with html/css and a forum made by php into wordpress and how I would go about doing it?

How would I also upload images so that if i wanted my css to get a background image it can find it in my database (or do I upload the images to my ftp)

I would also like to make it so that when people register on the website that it registers them through php as well as wordpress so that they can have a blog etc as well as post on the forums/post on announcements.

My main goal is to have my website look the exact same as before but with wordpress capabilites. Thank you in advance!

You would have to make a custom theme that looks like what you have now. You can search here, or google for theme tutorials.

Inside the themes are image folders, thats where all your theme images (like backgrounds, etc) will reside.

You can download a theme to check out all its files to see what you need to edit.

If you are trying to integrate with a forum, you have to search for bridge plugins for wordpress (and probably your forum)...I had one set up a couple years ago with my SMF forum.....

It'll take some work on your part to figure this stuff out, but it's definitely doable
