HTML5 media player, thumbnail and play without buffering the whole video

    Hi everyone I’m trying the new HTML5 media player, I have two problems that I would love some feedback on.

    If you click on play the whole video has buffer before starting to play, is there a way to have the video play as its buffering like vimeo or youtube?

    Right now the video screen is completely black is there a way I can use a thumbnail from the video instead?
