Ok I have been wrestling with this for days. I am trying to put up Amazon HTML for books on the Amazon site but it won't work! When I view it all I see is the HTML and not the Amazon pic and description. Any help appreciated.

  2. Are you using the WordPress visual or text editor? http://make.wordpress.org/support/user-manual/content/editors/ . You'll need to use the text editor to play with html.

Won't work it don't matter which one I use. Embedding html should not be this difficult.

  4. Embedding html should not be this difficult.

It's usually not difficult. OK, so let's give this a try:

    (1) Change to a default WordPress theme...twenty ten, twenty eleven or twenty twelve.
    (2) Disable all plugins.
    (3) Send us a link to the page where you have the html.

    No plug ins enabled.
I switched to the 2012 default theme and it worked with the html...so I do not want to use the default so how do I make it work with the theme I am using?

What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

I download all themes from the WordPress Website no where else. It's odd but since I changed to default and then switched back to what I was using it seems html is working now.

  9. @Thanatoic: Please tell us specifically what theme you are using AND/OR link to your website.

  11. Alright, so now the HTML embed(s) work fine? What did you change for it to suddenly work? In the future, please post your website URL in the original post so that folks can dig in and see what's going on :)

I did not change anything. There were no plug ins to disable. I just changed the theme to default then back to what I had and well it worked. I did not change a single thing.
