   Hi, I'm looking to insert a touch of HTML into some of the titles of my widgets to allow for a bit more styling. eg:

   Some title <span>sub title</span>

   When I try this, the widget interface automatically strips the tags. Is there any way to override this?

   I just noticed that link text is doing the same thing now -- is this new to 2.9? Is there a way to turn off the title sanitizer?

   Did you find an answer to this? I want to do the exact same thing - add span - and have been searching the internet for hours and hours and hours.
