Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of specific help.

What you may have to do to keep WordPress's backend filtering from messing with some HTML tags is to turn off (disable) the visual editor in your user profile, add the problematic tags, and then save/publish the post. I have to do this sometimes if I'm writing a post that contains code examples.

If you don't have it, you might check out the TinyMCE Advanced Editor plug-in as it adds some options to keep it from removing paragraph and line break tags when switching between the visual and HTML tabs. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/tinymce-advanced/

    Hope it helps,
    Mark H.
