HTML not saved in posts. Please help!

    hi

    i’m just getting started with WP as i’ve heard many good reports. Unfortunately i’m not very impressed so far! I’ve installed and re-installed the latest version but i’m having 2 major problems.

    1. When a post is saved, the copy disappears! Upon clicking save, the contents of the post is deleted apart from the title. This is not happening all the time and i think it might be related to my next problem…

    2. Any HTML tags added in the post are deleted. If I try to add any kind of formatting to the text or add a list, they just get removed after I save. This happens whether I use Visual or HTML mode.

    I’ve also been clearing the cache and trying it with different browsers but it’s all to no avail. Any help is much appreciated as I’m considering changing the blog software entirely.

    What browsers are you using?
    Are you using version 2.5 of WordPress?

    In prior versions Safari didn’t like the HTML formatting, so I had to use FireFox. WP 2.5 seemed to fix this for me.

    Thanks for the reply. I’m using WP 2.5.1 and I’ve tried FireFox and Safari. I’ve also tried reinstalling WP but still no joy 🙁
