As of now it is not possible to enter HTML in the description box. We have taken note of the suggestion and will see if we can provide you with this feature.
BTW can you elaborate why you require this feature? Maybe we can sugget you a work around.

It is beneficial to add different layouts, multiple headings with sub headings. Custom list signups. Custom CSS.
I could keep going on and on for the reasons to be able to add HTML and shortcode.
I love how simple your Easy Coming Soon plugin is to use, simply I would like a little more flexibility.

We are working ona premium version and have most of your suggestions in it.
For example, The Premium Version comes with 2 Templates
It also comes with Mailchimp Integration. It also saves subsriber email in wordpress database.
There are lot of other features like Progress Bar Support , Countdown Support , Access Control etc.
Let me know if you would be interested in trying out the beta version of the premium plugin..

What I like about you plugin over others is the fact that it’s simple and free… There are 100 other premium “Coming Soon” plugins, which all offer the exact same things you’re adding.
I’m only looking for HTML and shortcodes to be allowed in a simple coming soon plugin.
