   Why does wordpress have a 'code view' that destroys meticulous html and rewrites it all wrong, and how do I resolve this problem?

   I have the same problem I posted on 11/21/08.

   My issue is that "<i>" converts to "", and then breaks the line after the 2nd doc save.
   When italics are inserted via view mode there is an auto line break.
   I have also not been able to get "
   " to work properly.

   Is there any help out there?
