Please apologize if this has been commented before but I can’t search the forum at this time cause my adsl is quite slow today.
What I want to say is that I love the WYSIWYG editor for it is what I need to manually copy&paste some (many indeed) old HTML pages. However I also need to use the HTML editor in order to make some adjustments. The problem is that the new 'HTML source editor' seems to be a ‘Code Inspector’ instead of a real editor and it's pretty slow while loading a large post. What I wish, is to access the old true, reliable HTML editor at the flip of the HTML button. It is impractical and annoying to change the user Personal Options each time you need the HTML Editor or the WYSIWYG editor.

I agree with you. Make it a wishlist feature:

I suspect, however, that it would confuse some users who will not know how to revert back to WYSIWYG. Putting the option protects a newbie user from him/herself.
