HTML Content Disappears When Set to Autopublish (10 posts)

I already mentioned this in an early post, but no one really helped me.

Each and every day I set YouTube videos to auto-publish on my website. I use the embedded code that is on the video's YouTube page and paste it in the HTML part of my post.

Ever since the update of WordPress, the HTML is now labeled "Text." I have been posting the code in there, just like I have always been but it disappears when I set it to auto-publish. However, if I publish the post right away, the video shows up.

Can anyone help me out? Because I post YouTube videos daily and I set them to post at specific times.

I've tested this on one of my sites and the embed code is untouched in the published post.

Did you try to do it by auto-publishing the post?

The code stays there if I publish it right away, but when I set it to auto-publish, the code disappears.

Did you try to do it by auto-publishing the post?

Scheduled, yes. Not auto-publishing, no as that would use a plugin. If the issue is auto-publication specific, then the issue is likely to be in that plugin.

Hi Tony, it could be this: http://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/22944

But, as Esmi said, if you're using an auto-publishing plugin, it could be that. Also, have you tried disabling all your plugins and reverting to the default theme to rule out plugin or theme issues?

    It's not a plugin. It's a scheduled post.

So you're just scheduling a post. yes? If so, then I did use the same general process as you did. What exactly are you adding to the post? Just the video url? Or something else?

I am using the embedded code that is provided to me from YouTube.

I paste it under "text," but it was previously called "HTML" prior to the update.

Same issue here. I think Andrew Bartel is right with the core.trac reference he gives. Hopefully it is fixed in 3.5.1
